Practical information about your climb

You will be picked-up from your hotel early in the morning for transfer to the starting point (at the National Park gate) Registration and park formalities are completed here, whereafter you start trekking.

You will be accompanied by a professional climbing guide, an assistant guide, a cook and porters. All our staffs are well trained. Most of the guides speak more than one language, including English and some Germany, French and Italian. The Mountain Rescue Team is always standby.

These include climbing stick, climbing boots, sunglasses, warm jacket, balaclava, gloves, wind proof jacket and trousers, warm socks (3 pairs), sun cream, getters for technical route. We provide tents for Machame, Rongai, Londorosi, Umbwe and Lemosho routes. We advise clients to bring their own sleeping bags. We recommend tips to the climbing crew, for the guide not less than $50 and assistant guide not less than $40, cook and porters each $20.
